I am so confused about all the sizes of the nestabilities. I know I want them all, but I need to be realistic! (Darn-it!) I know I want the scallops and the coordinating straight edges. But I don't know which size is best for card making? Are there any kits that include all of the sizes of that particular shape? I'm leaning with the rectangles right now because I don't have any of the rectangles in the Marvy punches.
Any info would help me. I have read most of the threads on the nestabilities but I didn't see any about which sizes are preferred.
I started with the full set of the rectangles, then I got the full set of ovals and my full set of circles is on its way from China on the very slow boat to ucutathome...

LOL! Mine are on the same slow boat as yours! I got 4 sets (lg & sm of both plain & scallop) - ovals, square, circle and rectangle. I am weak.
I got the small and large circles and the small and large scalloped circles.
I had been getting frustrated with not having the perfect size circle punches, so this solved that for me - along with having scallops to layer with.
I can't justify spending my money on the square and rectangle ones since I can easily cut straight edges of any size with my paper cutter. I just can't emboss those (or at least not easily anyway). And of course I don't have square and scallop rectangles (yet!).

This is what keeps me from ordering from UCutAtHome even though the price is really good. It is really tempting and I have visited the site several times and have put stuff in the shopping cart. Then I ended up not completing the order anyway. The thing is, I don't want to be stressed out and frustrated from waiting. I have read a lot of complaints from this message board alone about people who ordered from UCutAtHome using the 40% VIP coupon and they have been waiting for weeks. Maybe a few dollars difference is worth it if you can get your Nestabilities order a lot sooner???
Oops, I have another ?... What is the difference between the dies that are solid (no open area in the middle) and the ones with the open areas?
Thanks again,
Dina
Dina, all of the Spellbinders Nestabilities are open in the middle. That is a patented design which allows for the embossing. Dies that are solid are not Nestabilities.

I for one don't mind waiting. 40% off is a large amount of money if you're ordering an entire set. If they charged my credit card and THEN I had to wait a month or so to get an item, that would be another story. I currently have the set of square dies on back order. I will be happy when I get them, but I'm not stressing out about it. My order in July is going to be the petite oval set; and, if I have to wait to save 40%, I'll wait.

You have a good point there. At least they don't charge your credit card upon placement of order

I'm going to have to go back and look to see why I'm confusing the solid ones. I saw them and each set comes in different colors. I'm glad to hear that they are different, because that lessens the confusion for me.
Dina, I think what you saw are the cutouts of CS that you get when you use the dies. I know I was confused when I first saw them, too. The dies themselves are a copper colored metal.
