I love berry baskets
clamshell ones...
I can keep most of my su ribbon in them and there's a space btwn the lid and base that ribbon can spool out through...
they are clear, stackable to a point
& are usually uniform sizes from company to company...
and free!
I use them for the things too big for su stamp cases all around the house too!
I label them by stamping sticker sheets and give away scraps, stamped squares and punched cs in them to students and good customers.
ds loves getting a new box of scraps too!

Oh and I use clear arylic CD holders from the Container store to hold my ink pads. You can view it HERE . I cut out heavy chip board "shelves" to slide into every other slot. I can store a color family in one holder so I have 4 stacked together. It works great for me.

Here's a couple of mine, I have a organizer that holds all my reinkers & sponges and love the pampered chef thing, it's great!!
I'm not sure how to post a picture in the body of this post. But, I do have a picture of it on my blog, once you get there, go to the albums (on the right side) and click on Organizing.
I also store all my stamp sets in CD cases. My ink pads are all stored in one of those 100 slot Napa Valley holders that a friend picked up for me for $5 at a garage sale. It's so perfect for my ink pads, I can't think of a better storage solution.
I have all my brads and eyelets in a thing I got from WalMart in the hardware department. It has about 60 little compartments to hold things. Plenty of room in it for everything!.
I keep my punches on a curtain rod on my wall.
I have some embellishments and keep my daubers in one of those small Sterlite drawer systems.
My 8x11 papers are stored in magazine holders.
I use a couple of those Olay face cleansing cloth holders to store Q Tips and pom poms.
I use Clamshell cases (okay, so it's stamping related..) to store my markers and pencils.

I also got the 100 cassette Napa Valley holder for my ink pads. It works wonderfully! I got mine from the Goodwill for $5.
The other cool thing I got was actually free! Last Christmas at Joann's they clerks were breaking these apart. I asked if I could have four of them. They hold all my ribbon! They are the ribbon holders for the ribbon they sell!
I use a one of those organizers that go on the back of a door, it has mesh pockets(20 of them). I use it to organize all my stickers. Works wonderful, I can now find what I am looking for. I got it at Linens n Things for under $20.
I use photo box for organizing my ribbon, and one for keeping cards in that I have made.
I also use the rain gutter to store my ribbon. We found an 8 ft piece- it was filthy because it had been outside but it's plastic- it washed up great! My DH cut it in 2 4 ft sections for me, I have limited wall space, so they are double stacked. I made sure that the "regular" sized rolls will fit on the bottom shelf (and can be taken out of the gutter) and I use the top shelf for the bigger ones. Sadly, I was able to fill both of them as soon as they were mounted on the wall! I also bought 2 packages if the metal vinyl coated grids. (Mine came from Target, they have them on sale quite often for $12-15 a box) We put them together with only about 6 inches between shelves. By using cable ties instead of the circle things they come with you are able to have a 12 x 12 piece lie flat. The 2 boxes made a side by side 5 foot tall shelving unit. I have 1 column as CS the other as SB paper. Each horizontal shelve tells what color goes there. It has worked great!! My last great deal, also from Target, it a slacks hanger. I had to remoe the plastic coating but I can slide my aheels onto every other rung. They hinge open on this one which is key. It was around $6. Hope some of these ideas help- I've liked some of the stuff I've read here, always needing to be more organized myself!
My SU stamps are alphabetized and put into Rubbermaid clear tubs. Each tub is labelled with the names of all the sets inside - I have 6 tubs right now.
Cardstock is contained in a hanging file folder box. With the exception of neutrals and In Colors, all other 48 have their own folder.
I use bead boxes to hold all my brads, baubles, clips, pearl pins, etc. So much easier to dig in than individual packets.
I have my primsacolor pencils sorted by color family (I only bought the ones that coordinate with SU colors) and they're in those slidey pencil cases with a list that says the name of the pencil and the SU color that corresponds.
Pencil, pen, sharpie, white gel pen, loose prisma pencils (neutrals), scissors, blending stumps, all sit in a pencil holder I found at Ikea for 99 cents.
Cut ribbon is wound around Round Tab punch "spools" and put in a Mason jar.
Loose jars of primas would be everywhere - and are sometimes. I grab 6 pack bottle holders and slide the jars in them.
I like the plastic Gerber babyfood containers to store my EP. They stack and I like to use a small gelato spoon to "spoon" my powder on. The spoons are also recycled from my many trips to a gelato stand.
The box that Bertoli Olive Oil comes in from Sam's Club makes a great paper holder. It is the perfect fit for 12x12 paper.
Palmolive dishwasher detergent boxes (also from Sam's Club) make great "altered" magazine holders. They are nice and sturdy and a great fit. I cover them with fabric and other pretties, ribbob, etc.
Wal Mart sells these great wire bins that slide/hook onto selves. I hook these onto my scrap shelves and store my ink pads, punches, and other small often used items. Keeps everything within easy reach.

I use the Pampered Chef Tool Caddy for my necesseties that I need close to me - crop a dile, scissors, pens, pencils, mono, adhesive remover, etc. Love it!

Wish I could post a picture. Unfortunately the cord that runs from my camera to the computer got severed. I do not know of another way to download/post a picture. Once I get a new cord (hopefully within the next week) I will post a pic.
All I can say is I found this box at the checkout. It held 2 big bottles of the oil and was a bit of an odd shape. My paper is stacked in it from front to back. I know, clear as mud!

I picked up some large sized priority mail boxes from the post office, then cut the sides down. I use the flat priority envelopes to divide the colors within the box. They are also completely alterable, but that is a project for another day. I can add to them as my paper collection grows, and it didn't cost me a thing.

What wonderful ideas!! Anniesmom, you have my head spinning for the boxes. I just threw out this morning 2 boxes from Sam's that would work perfect. I hope it made it to the garage in one piece for me to retreive. As soon as I read what you wrote I immediately could see the boxes for that. That is what is so wonderful about this place. A restaurant style silverware holder to hold my Copics...posted on another thread but in case you missed it, I will post another. Love the "angle" that it sits for good viewing and that the cylinders are removable. For me this is my best storage solution to date.

My husband found a rolling office cart at Costco and bought it for me. Nice guy, huh?!?! The top is hanging files and I have all of my paper in there. On the middle shelf I keep my Purple cow cutter. On the bottom shelf, I keep my scraps box, wheel guide, my color wheel and other little odds and ends. I will usually load up whatever stamps/ink/embellies I am using on my current project on this shelf. Under the bottom shelf there are two pull out drawers. In one I keep my decorative scissors and in the other I keep all of the essentials (stampin' scrub, scissors, ruler, bone folder, adhesives, etc.). I don't have a dedicated stamping room, so I use my dining room table. My cart is super handy for wheeling all of my 'stuff' from my storage area to the table!
I also have a few bookcases that I got at Target, I use them for my Color Caddies, Ribbon Keepers, Cuttlebug, embellies, extra paper, markers, colored pencils, primas, and whatever else that won't fit in my carts.
I store my stamps, wheels, and punches in rolling scrapbook carts. My dh double-stacked them for me, that way they take up less room (I have 7 of the 7 drawer type right now).
What I really need, is a stamping room. My dh (yes, he is super supportive of my crafting) has made up plans to build me a huge corner (think L-shaped desk) work station, and a paper tower. Eventually I will get it!

I've picked up some great stackable plastic crates at the dollar store. I just throw all my stuff in them and stack them all up so my mess becomes neat and tidy!
I use metal shingle edging to hold my rubber stamps. It is shaped like a " L " and is found in the roofing section at home depot or lowes. I got a 10ft piece for $1.85! DH cut it in the sizes I needed and we screwed it to the wall in rows, holds most all of my stamps all up on the wall were they are "art" as they are suppose to be! I love it and it cost less than $8.00 for the whole wall! (he he this is only a few of my stamps... )
Remember the rotating desk organizer that was on the Apprentice a few years ago? I bought one from staples when they first came out, and it's great! It holds all my pens, tons of paper, and small slots for stickers, etc.

I also have the spinning utensil holders, one that mainly holds my Prismacolor Pencils and one that has miscellaneous. I have the Making Memories one on my Christmas list because it is bigger and holds more.

I bought one of those wood racks with a bunch of plastic bins, usually for kids' toys. I have it in the closet of my craft room. It's filled with envies, brayers, petal point ink pads, buttons, drywall tape, sponges, cotton balls, q-tips, etc. It used to hold my punches too, but I recently got one of those clear shoe hangers for behind my door. Love it!
Just curious, what do you use the drywall tape for?
My hubby found this Pax shoe cabinet at IKEA and it is PERFECT for ribbon storage! It is amazing how much ribbon is holds, it has two shelves with upright poles and then we also purchased a clear slide out drawer that is on the bottom to hold misc supplies as well! Attachment 80758 Attachment 80759
If you have been buying Clementines do not throw out the cute little wooden boxes. I had DH hammer down any staples that were loose our sticking out. I than paint them with craft paint. These little boxes make great organizers for stamps (not in sets) ink pads, EP, adhesives or anything small that you just want to contain. They also stack pretty well. They are also great as the container for "gift baskets". I have a few put away for this purpose. We have several as my kids love clementines.

I used those wire cubes to make my own 12x12 paper storage. I just put together two cubes and attached them and then used zip ties to put additional shelves. Works great.
