Hello All !! I was wondering if anyone has received their pre-ordered Storybook Cricut cartridge? I was thinking it was supposed to be released mid-July. Has anyone received it yet? I ordered mine through Cutters Creek and just can't wait to get it!! Take care!!
Some stores have received theirs and are shipping them out. Last I heard Cutterscreek should be getting theirs today and she will start shipping out tomorrow. I also ordered mine from Cutterscreek too, so tomorrow I will be watching my e-mail all day for that notice it is on the way .
I found out Cutterscreeks order was delayed by a day. Viqui is suppose to get her shipment from Provo Craft today. Ughhhhhhhhhhhh the wait is killing me. I am watching my inbox like a hawk:rolleyes:
I ordered my Storeybook from JK Crafts and received it last night. Didn't really have time to play much, but I am going to love it. I bought the Graphically Speaking from cutterscreek, but have not heard anything about it yet.
dbrpuppets, YEA for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you get it soon!!!!
I'm still waiting to hear from Cutters Creek. Did they send you an email?
YIPPEE !!
Yes I did get an e-mail, I was order number 741 and I ordered on June 13th. I think she said she had over 300 carts to go out in the mail. So it is taking awhile to pack and then print off shipping labels. Hang in there it should be soon.
V. is working hard on getting all of the orders shipped out ASAP from Cutters Creek. She's a one-person operation when it comes to shipping. You can email Jenn at [email protected]. Emails to Viqui are answered in between packaging and shipping. (To answer emails, she has to stop shipping.) Sort of one of those Catch-22s. In order to have V. read your email, she has to stop shipping - which means a delay in getting orders shipped. (FYI, Jenn lives in Utah and V. lives in California.)
But... I DO know what you mean! I am anxiously waiting for a package to be delivered on Wednesday (Jukeboxes and cartridges).
This is a message that her daughter Jenn sent to the Cutters Creek Yahoo Group, which really helps to realize how much work this is for one person:

This is how orders are processed:
The shipment comes in and is verified and received which means opening all boxes and accounting for all items and verifying nothing is damaged or missing (yesterday there was 1 damaged cartridge and 1 missing box from the shipment) which required a call to Provo Craft, a claim being filed and tracking done on the missing box.
After that was done, packing slips are printed and orders pulled, bubble wrapped and packaged, in preparation for labels.
There are 310 orders to process (for the pre-orders alone) and package to get ready for shipping. The next process is trying to keep those in numerical order to get staged so nothing gets shipped out of order sequence and then labels and postage are generated from PayPal.
Labels and postage are generated from PayPal automatically if customers have used a PayPal account however if paid without a PayPal account, addresses have to be manually entered with the customer information.
Postage has to be affixed and packages sealed and staged for delivery to the post office - those are done in batches. They are delivered to the post office in big containers, some days filling an entire truck bed with packages to be delivered and some days requiring 2 and 3 trips to the post office.
Picture this - 19 postal containers, each one overflowing with packages, is what is being processed daily.
Where your focus, understandably, is one order, the overall process is several orders in batches.
This is a massive project and by no means is anyone complaining, just want to help understand the process.
We care about each and every customer and your orders so the process is being expedited the most efficient way we know how.

Goodie for you!!! I still haven't heard anything but I think your order number was way ahead of mine. I'll let you know when I get it!!! Have fun with your new cartridge!!
