Default Wishblade...anyone???

Anyone have one? I have to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly before saying yes...

I am saving my money for it. I have a huge, huge collection of fonts and other images which would be suitable to trace and cut with the wishblade and combine with stamped projects.

To me the wishblade makes the most sense because I am not limited to the disks the manufacturer offers for sale.

Do a search on WB here there are tons of threads. I have a pazzles which is just like a WB except a little more expensive. Highly recommend it if you are a scrapbooker. They are great for titles. If you go to my Gallery I did my scrapbook titles for a coupleof my pages with my pazzles. Pazzles cuts thru SU and Bazzill no problem. WB has tons of free files you can download off different Yahoo forums. I can't say enough good things about the machines. You can print out any ttf font off your computer also...

Pazzles you just use your pc you can get extra disks or download them off the pazzles site. Wishblade if you want to buy the extra files you need a card reader but there are hundreds for free so you don't need those anyways.

I bought mine at http://www.thescrappinpath.com she has great service and also a layby plan

I've never even heard of a pazzles. I'll have to check that machine out, too. Of course DH will have to check it out. He's the computer nerd. I showed him the circut, and he was not impressed...showed him the wishblade and because it hooked to the computer he was intrigued. Men. Now just decisions for me.

Awesome. I just looked at them. Wow, are they spendy. Which one are you getting?

ok, so I'm saving my money for either a Pazzles or WB, but how on earth do I know which one to get?? pazzles seems more versitle, and more heavy duty, but it does cost more $$. is it really worth the extra money? maybe if it were easier to use?? anyone out there ever try them both out? which one is more user friendly?
thanks

I got a wishblade in october, and I have only used it one time. We have moved etc, and I just can't seem to get it set up. I still have all my sizzix too.. I am more of a collector I guess you would say. I am thinking about selling my wishblade and getting a circut, just because you don't need a computer, and I never seem to have both things in the same place. Other than that is it nice. I just haven't really play with it.

My deciding point from WB to Pazzles was the ability to cut thick cardstock without an issue. I love mine. I wasn't impressed with cricut because you were limited to what you did. With either Pazzles or WB you arn't. I belong to PC hug club and i trace their stuff and make templates from it. I love making files and there are just so many free out there. Tons of tutorials in the WB Yahoo and Pazzle Yahoo groups... http://www.thescrappinpath.com has great customer service and sells both on layaway plans. Pazzles Pro cuts Chipboard but its roughly $1k which was too much for me. But can you imagine the possibilities if someone had the cash.
Also think of the money you will save by making your own Scrapbook titles. These run $3 - $5 in stores. You can cut out your own Alphabets from CS not to mention your other embellishments you can print out. I love love love mine....

I got my Wishblade in the mail yesterday and OH BOY is it extreme! I love it! I have been anticipating its arrival for weeks, so I've been researching, chatting with friends about it and preparing for the big day.

Definitely worth the spend. If you're teetering, I say, "go for it!"
