I don't have this exact cutter, but I have several others. I couldn't get any of them to cut straight (yes, my lines were "curvy") or to the measurements I thought I was cutting to (one end would be wider than the other). I've been so frustrated by this and have been searching for tips/the perfect cutter for over a year... (much to my wallet's chagrin!)
I love the way perfect mats look but was trying to resign myself to only making unmatted/off center designs on my cards. Then I decided to try a simple x-acto knife/cutting mat/ruler combo and whoo hoo!!! it works!! I'll never buy another paper cutter again!!! The new perfect matting tools (rulers with little ridges to slide up against your paper) that SU has come out with are also amazing.
