Maybe you can find the machine at M's and use their 50% off coupon this week. That makes the price a lot more practical. I am not sure that you could use the refill without the Xyron itself.

Default Xyron

I love my machine! I use it all the time. The 50% off coupon would make it much more affordable. If nothing else put it on your list. My family has used it to laminate and its so easy to use and change cartridges.

I remember reading years ago where people did just that, but that was with the 850. I don't know if the 900 would be any different. They would just pull out a strip the length needed and cut it. I just decided I would use a 50% off coupon and purchase the machine, lol....yes, it was still a bit spendy, but I get a lot of use out of it. The cartridges are easy to switch out without any waste, so I always go back and forth between adhesive and laminating cartridges.

Same here! I'm a teacher and I use mine all the time! Unfortunately, I've had too many experiences with other people ruining my items when laminating. I still have to use commercial laminators for large items, but for smaller things the Xyron can't be beat. I watch for the cartridges to be 40% off or I use a coupon and it makes it affordable.
