OK. Got my page done. Reading is something I do ALL the time and I love it (especially since it doesn't take too much effort ) Everytime DGS seems to grab the camera to take a pic of me, I usually have a book in hand...so this challenge worked out great to scrap some of those pics.
OK I put it in but it is not in the right place. What did I do wrong?
It's there now, but the keyword should be listed, and you listed passion as the keyword, it should be JUN11VSBNE. You may want to see if you can edit that.
So excited-- my 1st VSBN challenge! I will upload my pictures later. Thanks for the inspiration-- I am SO far behind on my scrapbooking:(-- working with pictures from 2004!
Challenge completed -- but why didn't I charge my camera battery earlier -- I only had all night last night to do it.

I chose food to make my passion page mainly because of the memory of my dear grandmother. Passion for Food by AnniePanda - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Here is the journaling from the page.
My first memories of food passions date back to my childhood of eating avocado with Mama Ruby. It was a favorite snack and seemed so special when she fixed us a plate of sliced scrumptious and smooth avocado. I have always favored fresh salads. My all time fav is something so simple: romaine, tomato, feta, and peppers. Soups are a source of true comfort and joy for me, I especially love my French Onion Soup made in the crockpot. Fresh herbs have become a passion for my cooking. There is nothing like home grown especially sweet basil.

DH and I met our freshman year of college and were best buds for about 3 years before we dated. He never gave up hope, even though I talked his ear off about all of my dating fiascoes those 3 years. Eventually, I did realize I loved him - in part because he truly loved ME. We just celebrated our 9th Anniversary on June 1st, and we are still crazy about each other!
Thanks for the fun challenge - I've been looking for a good excuse to scrap these funny pictures of my son. He's autistic, and for whatever reason he's developed a fascination with the Statue of Liberty - yes, that's him in the picture raising his hand up and imitating her pose. He's a goof. Hope you enjoy I Love the USA... tfl!
