Hello Crafters, hope you are having a fabulous day. This week we are painting a pretty scene. The tutorial is Wet in Wet Technique by Kirsty Partridge Art. I loved painting my card and hope you will enjoy this tutorial as much as I did.

I loved to paint the wet on wet sky, I've almost spoiled it when I started to water coloring the tree, I saved it by cutting just a square and used a micron pen for the tree instead of paint Friendship
Today is a lesson in patience for me. I started my painting EARLY this morning knowing our humidity and dew point are much higher than usual. - This should make the wet on wet much easier - right ? ! ! ? ! Painted my first layer and when it hit the "not moving" stage set aside to dry - 1 hr - 2 - 3 - It feels dry to the touch now but I hit it with a hair dryer to make sure. Touched it with the first bit of water and oh no -ugly blooms - so it's not really dry after all. Finally at hour five, I can rewet my piece and add some deeper tones. And now the waiting begins again so I can paint the wet on DRY tree. Hopefully I can post a completed card before the weekend!
Stay tuned!!

Goodness, Linda, your humidity must have been overboard. I didn't have that problem so lucky me, huh? I know your card will be beautiful even if it is the weekend before it is completed. Ouch!!!
