WCW145-March 8, 2023- Flower Perspective made easy.
Hello! Linda here with this week's challenge. We are doing an encore of the artist Kia gave us last week, Emma Jane Lefebvre. She has a great video on sketching and painting perspective flowers. I made a cheat sheet of her steps of sketching them. Here is the video- Keyword- WCW145

I really really struggled with this, I did the flower heads no problem ( 4 times now) but adding in the greenery just gave me fits
here is what I finally ended up with Thanks Linda WCW145 Sunny Side Up by JBgreendawn at Splitcoaststampers
I uploaded my card. I decided to use a lopsided doughnut to be the model for drawing the petals. Naturally old guys like me love doughnuts. Great perspective exercise!
Thanks to all the painters who did the perspective flower technique. Hope we all learned some tips and the more we practice this technique, it will become second nature when sketching blooms for our paintings. Thanks to Brent for the doughnut tip and Jean the graphite. Thanks for sharing.
