WT08 - Ways to Use It Challenge - Everyone welcome!
I've been finding that I rarely use eyelets or brads in my work so this week's Ways to Use it Challenge is to use EYELETS or BRADs in your work. Please remember to put WT08 in the keyword section and post a link back on this thread so that we can all see your work. If you haven't posted to this challenge yet, please join in. Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!

I have been dying to get in on one of these challeges, and this week I will! I will definatly be working on this... But in the meantime, here are some examples from my gallery:
I just found this awesome site earlier this week! Great use of the Balmy Breezes set. I didn't think this set was that great, but I have seen some super samples, and now I have to buy it! I will be posting some eyelet & brad samples soon!
I love eyelets! In fact, sometimes I have to FORCE myself NOT to use them . . . maybe it's the hammering involved . . . get out those frustrations by attacking that darling piece of metal

I am working on a new card for this challenge tonight, but here's a card I posted last week that used eyelets. I know. I know. Not technically for this challenge, but it's something.

Brads and eyelets
I just posted today the BPBB that I did for a swap and I used lots of brads and some eyelets in it. I used larger flower brads to hold the book together and then others for embellishment throughout. If you'd like to take a look here are the pages:
Here's several recent ones that use eyelets or brads. I love using both. A couple of these were created just for this challenge, others were made before it, but all within the last week. Cool challenge, Julia!
I love using brads! Will try to make something new for the challenge this weekend but in the meantime, here are a couple of personal faves from my gallery:
You know, I put eyelets on everything that will stay still . . . but here's the card I made tonight specifically for this week's challenge (image might be pending):
I didn't manage to get any stamping done yesterday so I was in withdrawal this morning. Whipped this card off when I should have been getting the kids ready for school. Thankfully they still made the bus.
My mom was over hanging out with me while I was stamping, and she put together the Banana with the CC09 colors. I thought it was great with Ruby Red and the Sage.
I am in the midst of a move, and I haven't been able to keep up with leaving comments on all the challenge cards posted this week....they have all been fabulous!
I use brads more than I do eyelets due to having MM eyelets and a toddler! They don't mix (noise related). I need soft eyelets!! Here's a card using brads from my gallery.
OK, here's another card. This time I'm back from the shabby look and managed to set three whole eyelets without waking my toddler who is sleeping in the next room.
Here is a couple more cards using brads. I wanted to use eyelets but had more appropriate colors in the brads. For one card I used them to hold vellum onto the card and the other card needed a little black to balance it out so that is what I used them for on that one.
