Tough challenge, Julia! I might have used Orchid Opulence once or twice before today and, although I like the combo I used, it'll probably take another challenge to get me to use OO again
Here's my card. It's quite sparkly in real life. I just might use this colour more often now! I'm looking forward to seeing what other people have come up with for this challenge. It's always inspiring.
Yippee, finally got to participate on the actual day of the challenge! Here is my submission for the challenge... and it's using a set I've had for a while but had not yet opened (except to mount)! Thanks for the great challenge!
I happen to be a big fan of Orchid Opulence - my pkg is almost GONE! Here is a card I did for this Easter that was already posted, but meets the challenge. I'll have to make up a different card, too, I guess!
Did ya ever notice how nice and straight everything looks . . . until you post it and all it's ugly sins show up!!!! Anyway, here's my card for today . . .
Great challenge to use Orchid Opulence on your card. I hardly use Orchid, find it hard to work with. Not sure I would normally put these colors together, but thought I'd stretch myself today.
Just saw this challenge and I'm actually excited because I recently "discovered" this color. It still is not one of my favorites, but it's starting to grow on me. I will try to make and upload a card tonight specifically for this challenge, but in the meantime here is a card I made with OO for the bold brights limited supplies challenge a while ago: LCS106 Bold Doodles by stampwithdiane at Splitcoaststampers
Didn't have orchid opulence, but chose the closest paper I had- (I'm really gonna have to get some SU paper one day). Here is my submission for today- Orchid Mouse
Thank you for the challenge!!! I do have problems using anything in the BB family. I'm also trying to use sets that have set on my shelf unused for a long time.

I think I need an intervention! I just can't stop making these striped cards - I love them! This is my favorite one to date using lots of ribbon for the stripes.

I have been using ORCHID alot. It matches a WILD ASPARAGUS paper that I use to make clipboards for my daughter's 1st grade friends. The colors are Orchid, Cool Carrib. and a touch of artichoke on WW. A great color combo!
Here is an ORCHID card from my stash. A TAYLOREDEXPRESSIONS CASE:
Great Challenge, Julia . . . this isn't a color I tend to grab. I'm not sure why as it is a very beautiful color to work with. I made a Wild Orchid Birthday card. TFL!
