Today's challenge makes me a little sad.....I can't play because I am not a SU demo, don't have any retiring sets. I am a new demo for CTMH and own only current sets since that's what I can show. I am fairly new so I don't have any sets that that retired this year. I know that this site is heavy with SU but come on....please don't exclude a whole group from playing. I'm not the only one.:(
Here's my card....thanks for the challenge Julia! I used RIW..shocking, isn't it? I need to run some errands today, so I'll be back tonight to comment my heart out!

I have been stamping for quite a while, but I have not purchased a lot of stamps due to extreme space limitations. I might have one or two retiring sets (actually, I have several that I bought on the BST forum here - that retired a year ago LOL!). As for my non- SU stamps - I have no idea. If I don't have any retiring ones, I'll be happy to do something else - maybe catch up on a previous challenge, or - horrors- do some of that neglected housework! As for this site being heavy with SU - since it was started by a demo, I am very appreciative that generally there are no limits on brands.
I love looking at the challenges each day. Some challenges have a place to click where you just see the cards and don't have to scroll down to each individual message. Am I missing that somewhere on Thursdays? At any rate, no matter how I see the cards I am impressed and inspired. Thank you to everyone for participating.
I tried to click on your link above (Going Out in Style) and I got a page cannot be found message. Anyway, I have to work today, but will do one this evening. Have a great stamping day!
Thanks for letting me know! I'm not sure what happened there! It is now fixed!
This is a terrific challenge, Julia, thanks so much. Here's my attempt at this challenge. I wanted to keep it simple so the only embellishment is the ribbon, but I think it works!
I'm so in love with mine I might pass out. Do you think it would be strange if I carried around with me all day today and showed everyone I came across? LOL :-D Double Line Latte Extra Whip
I made this a little while back but hadn't uploaded it yet. It fits with the challenge today and I've got a busy day so I'm sharing this one for now. I'll try to make a new card a little later. Half Birthday Card

I am not a demo either and there are lots of people playing along today who are not! As you are on this site longer, you will see that NOBODY IS EVER excluded from contributing a creative idea! Especially on the challenges. There are 115 OTHER Ways to Use it challenges that you can choose from not to mention the other 6 days of the week challenges as well.
Our challenge moderators are VOLUNTEERS, with busy families and lives. I appreciate their efforts even if I don't have the correct toys to "play" along.
PLEASE, JUST MAKE SOMETHING FUN AND POST IT!!

I've been wanting to do a challenge for several weeks now, but now that my little one doesn't nap in the mornings, I just can't get anything done! BUT, I did just finish these invitations using my favorite retiring set, Living Large. I can't believe it's retiring! It's so cute!
Anyway, here are some invitations I'm sending out today (if I can get the envelopes addressed).
I am so excited! I was going to combine this weeks color challenge and sketch challenge. I decided on a set yesterday but didn't have time to make the card yet. Now I can make it a triple challenge because the set I picked is retiring!!!! Love love love when I can combine challenges like this! I have a grad party to go to tonight, hopefully I can find time to squeeze in stamping and uploading!!!
Thanks Julia, as always, great challenge!

Hi *Andi*....
You can go to the gallery and type in WT115 in the search field and it will pull up just the cards for that gallery since Julia doesn't have her link to it in the thread....
For all the sets that are retiring, I am very sad but at the same time excited. I'm sad because some are my favorite! I am very excited because there must be that many more new awsome sets awaiting me to buy them! Shelly doesn't seem the type of creator to retire so many wonderful sets to be replaced by just ok ones, so that gets me even more excited to see what she has come up with! (Her and her designers that is...)
So anyways, here is my tribute to Roses In Winter, may you rest in peace and never gain dust! LOL...
