I remember someone (cardsbycarla, maybe) who used a background stamp on a piece of dampened velvet fabric for a Valentine card for the Dirty Dozen either Jan or Feb 06. She used a mousepad as some sort of cushion?? My membership ran out and I can't go back and look it up again.....:(
Does anyone know how to do this technique??

I'm new to this challenge, so I don't know if this goes against "the rules", but could people without velvet do something like a faux velvet? I found this card by

I'm sure that would be fine! I'd like to see what you do with it. I've never used flocking. Sounds like a great technique!!! I'm sure Julia would have the same response.
