Alittle late - had to work Thanksgiving. So I came home this morning and wanted to try some new things. I learned two new techniques with this card - thanks so much for this challenge, Julia. Here's my card:
I have never before used stitching on cards. I decided to hand-sew the accent on this card because I didn't want to dull my sewing maching needle. I know it would be faster to machine sew it, but I kind of liked the more rustic, nubbly look of the embroidery floss on the card instead of thread: WT141 SC151 Artfully Striped/Dotted Thanks by AlternateReality at Splitcoaststampers

I'm probably late on this challenge..someone recommended me to post my card here...so here it goes. This is 2nd time doing a challenge.

hehehe I just made this card which focuses stitching last night. It totally fits todays challenge so I'm going to post it. If I have time tonight ater work, I'll make another card too -- I love stitching on my cards too!!
I actually add machine stitching to my cards and scrap pages quite often. Usually I forget to mention it with my post! This is a little late for the challenge, but better late than never. WT141 Pattern Stitches by StampinAK at Splitcoaststampers
WT141 Carrot and Pumpkin Seed Packets by Crafty Julia
I just got the Seeds of Friendship set from Flourishes, so I added some blanket stitched fabric accents on the pumpkin packet, and DC buttons with embroidery floss on both. I used the TPC Studio's Victory Gardens for the carrot and pumpkin images- enjoy!
