I'm getting ready for a Workshop here tomorrow so short on time - will try to create another card for today's challenge but I thought I'd share this card I made for my DH -this is the inside of the card with the sentiment printed on a transparency.

Fabulous challenge Julia! Probably can't get to it until after the weekend but this is one I can't resist! I love combining my computer resources with my stamping supplies...

Good morning! It's Thursday again and time for another Ways to Use it Challenge. Today I know you can all play along with this challenge as the product to use....you are using it right now! That's right. Your computer! Find new ways to use it! Whether you create a sentiment, use some digital paper, image, print off a template or use another fun trick...today the challenge is incorporate your computer into your papercrafting. As always..make a card, altered project, even a layout. Whatever catches your fancy.
Please remember to put WT156 in your keywords section and post a link back here.
Great challenge! I need to remember to use the computer more often.
My card is for a woman in her 40's diagnosed with cancer and not a lot of time. :( Here's to her beating the odds... Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Hi, everyone...This card was so fun to make...too bad it took so long to get posted...Markie has the stomach flu, again, and a big bump on the noggin...Poor thing...No school today...and tears...LOTS of tears....
Originally I was trying to print some Shabby Princess paper, but my printer is much lower on ink than I thought. So I went with the computerized sentiment instead using Waterbrush ROB for the font.
This is the results of looking for a layout that showcases the bg stamp as well as making the whole card a bit more bold. After spending about 30 minutes looking, I altered about 5 different one into this combo. I do like it.

...Here is what I came up with for the Ways to Use it Challenge. I created my own dinos, palm tree, coconuts and sentiment on my computer using powerpoint. I drew out my dino then taped it to the computer screen and traced it using power point. Then I made my tree and leaves. The coconuts were the easiest to make. It was actually really easy. The only stamp I used was Linen bg stamp. I hope you like it!

Wow, Julia - I just realized that you used my card as a sample for this challenge - I guess I don't have to link it afterall (lol)!! Thanks so much for the recognition!!! I use the 'puter quite a bit if I don't have the right words/paper on hand. Thanks again!!!

I made a card sometime ago for my Grandma - we used to sit and chat and drink tea and when I got my tea ring stain stamp, I just had to use it! I had to come up with my own poem to make the card work, but I think it turned out rather well.
I found some neet vintage images online this morning. I have so many, I will probably submit more cards for the challenge. For now, here are two of my cards. TFL
