Well, I used up my imaginative piercing ideas for my VSN challenge at the weekend, so I've gone very basic for these two cards .
It's a good challenge for me, because it's not something I often think to do.
Year ago I was trying to use a needle for paper piercing and found it hard on the fingers. I found a thumb tack the plastic type have a great finger hold on it without killing the fingers. It actually works better then the needle and most everyone has one.
Thanks for your challenges.

A plastic thumb tack would totally work too. I could see how it would be easier to control as well. Thanks for bringing it up!
Wonderful challenge, works so well with so many cards and projects! I did a tag, actually the reverse side of a scalloped holiday tag- and added this cute baby, with a embossed background. Finished with a scalloped dc lilac background, and a flower/brad combo. Here's Oh Baby!

Such gorgeous samples! The coloring on the flowers is beautiful and the paper piercing is a nice addition.
I laughed when I saw the title for this week's challenge: Poke a hole in it! Some strange thoughts went through my head trying to figure out what that meant. But it is an appropriate title for paper piercing. I hope to get a card made in the next day or so.

I've used that kind of thumbtack also. It works well even on a large pierced design. Much easier on the hands than a needle and I like the size hole that the thumbtack makes.
I keep forgetting to use this technique...so again TY for the great idea and hope your wee one is feeling better soon...here is my Sweet cherries

I finally finished 15 of these for a customer. Here's my card .

What a great showing today ladies! I'm impressed. Thanks to all of those who expressed concern for my daughter. It turns out that she has strep throat :( I am glad to know and be able to treat what she has going on!
