Since I don't have the real stuff, I had to do the faux rick rack technique. Vicky, I love your poem!

Well, I had so much fun with my earlier upload on this challenge, I did another, but this time it was a triple challenge for this weeks color, sketch and ways to use it challenges. You know, I'm new at this, but I find it takes much less thinking when you do the challenges -- so much is already decided for you!!! Here's my triple challenge card -- Sharon

Thanks for the challenge Julia. I don't know why, but ric-rac is a challenge for me. I put 3 together this week (SC, WT and IC).

As I'm pretty new to SCS, and just started uploading things in the last 24 hours, I seem to be figuring things out sort of backwards. First, I saw Julia S's cool rick rack card on "today's" new uploads, copied the idea, uploaded it, then figured out it was from Julia, so I let her know. Then later tonight, I realize there was a challenge for rick rack. I guess it doesn't count if I just copy someone else, but here's what I copied from Julia S. It's not quite as fine tuned as some of you experts, but I'm having a ball. (Spending way too much time here, but having a ton of fun!)

I'll come back when I create my own rick rack masterpiece too!

I went to Joann's to pick up some Rick Rack and I found it funny that the package it was in was from the 1970's...I should have saved it since it is most likely vintage. lol! Mom told me that my grandmother used to put rick rack around the edges of her dresses that she made.
Fun!
