WT728 - Fancy Folds (2/21/19)
Hello everyone...happy Thursday! Cathy here with this week's Ways to Use It Challenge .
Your challenge today is to use more than one fold on your card. You can use multiple folds on your card or make a card base that uses more than one fold. Here are just a few links from the Tutorials with fancy fold ideas to inspire you:
Pleated Skirt Fold
Lever Card
Twisted Pop-Up Card
Center Step Card
Bridge Fold Card
Easel Card
There are tons more so I can't wait to see all of your Fancy Folds in the gallery!
Here's my sample: Easter Tulips
See the thumbnails for some fabulous Fancy Folds by Carla, Lisa and Sabrina!
Here's a link to the WT728 Fancy Folds !
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE

I was happy to give the pleated skirt fold a try and build my birthday stash:
WT728 Birthday Drapery
And use old paper as per my resolutions WT ;-).
I do love the triangle trifold which I learnt here when I first joined, so I might be back with another if I can find time and energy.

Cathy, I'm sure this gallery is going to be filled with fantastic and imaginative folded cards. I went with a simple one and used supplies I haven't used in years(Scor-Pal and punch) I never have been good with "fancy formats" and the easel card seemed doable for me. Thanks.

I am using my favorite fancy fold today. I may go back and make a second card and try something new, also.
Here's my card for WT and CC:

WT728 floral thinking of you
For today's folds challenge- I received a gift of this beautiful vintage style layered flower and brad combo from a good friend- added some quirky blue grey washi tape to offset the pretty eyelet border above it. Recycled a lots of cool papers into a collage background, locked down with a swirly embossing folder. Finished with a aquamarine ribbon bow and a stylized sentiment block. Here's
floral thinking of you
