Looks like fun, but no stamping time for me today! We thought our house was sold, but the deal fell through and it's back on the market with a showing this evening! Gotta clean! I'll check the gallery later to admire everyone's creations.
I'll have to see what I can come up with. I have about 3 colors of LA.

First time using liquid applique and it's kinda tempermental. It seems to puff where it wants to, not necessarily where I wanted it to. Cool stuff, though.
One thing that helps keep the LA from smashing enroute through the mail is to put some clear ep on it before you heat it - a trick I learned in a Christmas class at a LSS years ago.

I combined today's challenge with yesterday's sketch challenge.
-- Thanks Julie for making me drag out my Liquid Applique. I want to use it yesterday, on my mitten card, but i was to lazy to get it out. I also didn't feel like waiting for it to dry.

Here is a sample of one of my cards made with it. YOu can also use 3-D embroidery stuff found at the craft stores or even Walmart has it. I haven't seen liquid applique at my Walmart, but my Joann's has it, as does Joanns.com. The foam on the latte was done with liquid applique.
Thanks! Now I know what to look for! Stopped by Michaels right before a Dr.'s apt for CJF#2 this am and I asked 3 people where to find it. No one had a clue  and I didn't have time to poke around looking for it. Hv to try Joann's or Wallie World tomorrow!
What a great challenge! I new just what stamp set to use for this challenge-an oldy, but one of my favorites! thanks julia for the great challenge! Here is mine Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

My question is how to keep it from smashing down when you send the card or stack it any way? thanks!
I put a little bit of bubble wrap over it or other embellishments as they go into the envelope.

Of course it's OK! That is why I try and use the word PROJECT....it can be a card, scrapbook page or anything! Thanks for playing!...I'm off to check it out!

HI Cassandra! So glad to hear from you! I do hope that you continue to improve and feel more like yourself each day.
Good Grief, I don't think I have used my liquid applique since last Xmas.....poor thing :-( I would like to give it a go in a few days. Thanks Julia for giving us the push........
Oh just saw this, but don't have time to play. I just got some liquid applique..never used it before so wish me luck. I will try to play tomorrow. I know that TAC sells 8 different colors. You better not get me hooked on this stuff Julia or I might be ordering the other colors soon
I just realized I am supposed to link my card here. This was fun, although I did spend nearly all day on it. I might even try doing it again! OK, here's the link. Thanks for looking! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Maddy
Started this this morning and finally got some time to finish it and upload - It looks like a mess to me, but I'm putting it up anyway because it took so long! I need a LOT more practice with this stuff, lol!
Anyway, thanks for looking
I Love using LA, thanks Kittie for the tip that you don't need to let it dry before you puffy it up. -- I'll be using it alot more now. --
I didn't mean for my card to have such dark colors, but it seemed to have a mind of it's own. Thanks for looking. Here's my mouse. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
