Challenge: WT179 - Crazy for Copics
Well, since I'm not crazy for Copics - I thought this was one I'd sit out. However, lacyquilter pointed me to a link wherein I learned a new technique - using SU markers (ZIG brush - in my case) to give a watercolor effect.
This is the site: http://paperpleasing.typepad.com/my_...ics-no-pr.html
I stamped the image and used various Zig brush markers to outline the flowers and then my aqua pen to blend the colors. Love the way these markers give me a little more control, allowing much more versatility in my watercoloring, which apparently is my favorite (looking back on my gallery).
Mounted this oval image onto ruby red then white and pierced two of the opposing corners, then around the curve for the other 2. Popped antique brads in opposite corners, mounting all up on dimensionals onto cameo that I had versamarked with the same image.
Still not rushing out for the Copics, but we'll see ...
Thanks for the challenge ...
And thanks for looking
