The candy corn treat box on page 29 of the IB&C inspired this box. I had to use what I had on hand.
In order not to waste a lot of c/s when I just wanted a portion of the Batty image, I wheeled only the bottom portion on each end of the white c/s; cut those off and wheeled two more. I continued until I had enough strips for all my club members.
Thanks for your comments. Because I've had a couple of requests, I'm adding instructions.
Instructions: Base and acetate lid are both 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Score the base at 5/8" on all sides; score the acetate at 9/16" on all sides. Crease all score lines well using a bone folder. Clip a tab at each corner. (I tried glueing the tabs on the acetate with Crystal Effects, but I had to hold it awhile until it dried, so at my clubs we just used Sticky Strip tape. Perhaps a mini glue dot would look neater.) The DSP is 2" x 8 1/2" and the wheeled strip is 1" x 8 1/2" Twill is 13". The lid was just the tiniest bit too big, so you may want to adjust the score measurements a wee bit to get a better fit. Good luck and have fun!
