Bagalopes can be made from any size envelope! They make particularly nice gift bags when made from catalog envelopes. This is a very small one made from a Confetti Cream A4 (Medium) envelope.
To make a bagalope, seal the envelope, then score an even distance from two of the long sides and one of the short sides. The distance you score is determined by how deep you want the bag to be. In this case, the bag is 1 1/2" deep, so I scored 3/4" from each side. Then cut the remaining short side (unscored) off with a pair of decorative scissors. Put your hand inside and pinch the two bottom corners to create a triangle, pushing the score lines out to create the sides. Stick the triangles up to the sides using a strong adhesive...sticky strip works best for this.
