This is a card I did for the Technique Swap using the Rubber Cement Technique. For a first try with this technique I really like it Not to mention it makes me want a big bowl of ice cream!

I really LOVE that background! I understand the basics of the rubber cement technique, but how did you keep that top layer white??? The way I understand it, you put the rubber cement on, then brayered over it with Close to Cocoa, and then what...?

You dribble the rubber cement, then brayer creamy caramel, then more rubber cement, then brayer close to cocoa, then you remove all the rubber cement. The first layer of rubber cement you put on becomes the white and the second layer is the creamy caramel. You can do it with any coordinating colors just make sure you do the lighter color first. Hope this makes sense!
