About 6 years ago, I saw a card where the stamp from Kids at Play had been used for a teachers card. The stamp had been used around the perimeter of the card with the names of the students. That card inspired me to make one for my kids' teachers, and every year I have done some variation of it for the teachers (except for one horrendous teacher my youngest son had in second grade). One year I made the coffee cups where you can put pictures inside. Last year and this I decided to just make a little picture and put it in an acrylic picture frame.
I try to color the skin and hair to match the kids in the classroom.

wow what a thoughtful gift for a teacher. I am sure this teacher will treasure this gift. Don't stop doing this...make it a wonderful tradition that your kids will always remember you for it...and the teacher will treasure as well.
