Hi!
This is my card for SC233
My friend has a daughter who is graduating HS this month. She's home schooled and is actually ahead of schedule.
I made the owl panel last night and was hoping to use it today for the SC. I had to turn it upright as you can see.
I sponged on Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, Night of Navy and a little Basic Black. I colored in some on the owl with Creamy Caramel Marker.
The yellow is dp and I used the Weathered BG on the Brocade Blue panel. Everything is matted in black and the card base is black. I hand wrote 2009 but wish I hadn't now.
Main question here is "Is this ok for a girl?"
No ribbon, nothing frilly... What do you think, honestly?
and thanks so much for looking and your opinions!

Wendy, this card is awesome! I love the owl, and turning the sketch is perfect for this card! Great job, girlie!!

I think it's a great grad card! If she's anything like my daughter, she's not into frills anyway. :-)
