This motion card was made for a swap I'm hosting. Background trees, road and grass colored with watercolor wonder crayons, truck and accessories colored with markers. When you pull the grosgrain ribbon, the truck moves from one side of the card to the next.

It is SO easy to do, but it helps to see it done. I'll try to explain it. If you look for it on the card, you'll see 2 cuts - I'll call them "tracks." I gauge where to put the tracks based on the image itself. I made these tracks 1.5 inches from the edge on each side and about 1/2" apart.
After I made the tracks, I cut a strip of cardstock approximately 1/4" wide by 1" long.
Put the ends of the strip through the tracks (insert through front of card toward back). The ends will stick out the back of your card.
Place your ribbon (about 10-11 inches long) in between the tracks.
Put SNAIL adhesive on the end of one of the ends, and glue to ribbon on the back of the card (NOT the card itself, of it won't move).
Put SNAIL adhesive on the other end of your cardstock strip and fold over the ribbon and 1st end of cardstock strip loosely. Make sure that when you pull one side of the ribbon that the cardstock strip and ribbon move together from one side of your card to the other.
Turn your card face up again. See the cardstock strip? That is where you put one SU Dimensional (aka Pop Dot). I usually use leftover rubber from when I cut out my SU sets.
Place the image to move on the Dimensional. I try to center the image on the Dimensional.
Hope that helps! It is easier to make one than try to explain it, I think! LOL
All my best,
Nancy
