I wanted to make a teapot version of this fantastic watering can template for a good friend who collects teapots. I had fun with this. The handle is actually created from playing around with two copies of the spout template and adding a connecting curve between them. For the spout, I just snipped off the top curve. Next time, I think I will make the teapot version spout a little shorter.
The blue delft pattern is made with an Anna Griffin background stamp I've had for ages and finally used here for the first time. The ink is Brilliant Blue and I colored in the image a little here and there with a Bashful Blue marker. What doesn't show in the photo is the shiny surface created with a Versamark pad and clear EP to look more like a china surface.
For the center, I used Summer Sun cardstock and the 3/4 inch circle punch, then shaped it with a floral punch craft tool. A piece of dimensional is under the center to keep it puffed up, and the edges are glued down with Mono Multi Adhesive. I made six of them for this arrangement.
The flower stems are made by folding a 4 1/4 inch long piece of Always Artichoke cardstock, cutting about 1/8 inch along the fold, curving out a little wider at the top and rounding it off. I then opened up the rounded top portion of the fold and used the barrel of my waterbrush to bend it downward , creating a tab to glue to the back of the flower. I put some Mono Multi Adhesive along the inside of the stem part of the fold to hold it together. It makes a fairly sturdy stem.
The leaves are made with the SU! Little Leaves Sizzlits die and Always Artichoke cardstock.
I put some floral grass inside the teapot which holds the flowers and leaves in place.

It looks like a beautiful piece of china. ***I love it!*** I am a huge favorite of tea... so... a love for teapots is inevitable. And your flowers... your flowers are delightful too!

Absolutely amazing! I imagine that the VersaMark/embossing powder really takes this right over the top. I love your flowers, too. I'm sure your friend will squeal with delight when she sees this.
