The lattice wasn't difficult at all. I made a light pencil grid that was about 5 squares high and 1/4 tick marks up and down. Then I drew slanted lines until I had a row of triangles. After that, I used my exacto to cut the triangles and folded back every other one. My directions are probably hard to follow. If you want, I could give probably give you link to them if you want them. Just let me know . Thanks to all for the kind words.

okay bad news...I can't find the link on it. I've done a couple of searches and I can't find it which I know there are more than a couple sites for it. The good news is I copied and pasted the directions so I could do this and here they are
The grid starts 1/4 " from the 3 sides of the card.
It should be 1" x 5 "
All lines are 1/4" apart so that your grid consists of 1/4" squares
To Start your grid....mark ticks 1/4" and 1 1/4 " from the top of your card
Then connect the ticks forming 2 parallel lines. You should have a rectangle
Go around your rectangle marking 1/4" ticks. Connect them You now have your grid
Always use a pencil to mark your grid. Press lightly. The grid eventually has to be erased.
Mark where you want your cuts before you actually cut. This will avoid mistakes!
Once you have marked the grid, use a sharp exacto knife and ruler to cut. Erase pencil marks
Fold the longer cut pieces over onto the front of the card
Glue the pieces into place.
I hope this helps!
