Here's the other three of the six different mini composition books I made for baby shower gifts to match the mini gel pens from the Target $1 Spot. I made a total of 42 (big shower). I finally got to use this great idea from srogers5 for attaching the pens: http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.c...epad&perpage=24 I used decorative paper on the inside cover to hide the taped down strip of card stock that holds the pen. This is the first time I used the SU! Designer Papers, and I was very impressed. Even those with a white background covered the mini comp books just fine. To add some sparkle I used the Faux Diamond Dust technique for the musical note.

Having seen these darling books in person, I can tell you they are sooo cute. The circle with the musical note is very sparkly and shiny. I did not attend the shower, but Linda gave me one of these little cuties. So much fun! Thanks Linda

I love these colors and the pens that match so well. When I look at all these pictures together I think how phenomenal the work you put into this shower!

This is a great idea for even for the boys! Just change the colors to more primary boy colors and there you have it. My 9 year old DS loves for me to cover his little notebooks. He also likes to help! TFS
