The mittens are from an old retired SU set that hasn't seen ink in a long time. What fun! I also enjoyed doing the faux stitching, my first attempt, and I hope that the combination of the hemp twine and the felt ribbon count toward the yarn requirement! I did my best with what I had on hand.
This was really fun - thanks for such a great challenge. I can't wait for the Olympics and the red mittens!

What a cute card -- the faux stitching works so well with your ribbon, the ribbon/twine treatment is great, and the mittens are just adorable -- weren't you glad for a chance to use them again?
