Today Holly asked us to create our own background paper... not a problem... other than what do I want to express???? So I went with the feeling of Spring exploding around me... all the bright colors coming up and surprising us all over the place... I love it.. it is like the 4th of July with the colors ... Just a wonderful feeling... so I wanted that to be shown in this card...
I used a piece of white card stock and painted it with my trusty H20's... and then when it was dry, I embossed it with all different kinds of explosion stamps... and I used embossing powder to get the colors really strongly on to the paper... I also used a mesh to show the different textures of the ground... and white for some linger snow in places on the mountains... (in fact the mountains got snow last night...) I added a panel of white for the purity I feel during this awakening of the season.. and put some fresh little pansies that are 5 layers of paper... all cut to give that wonder 3D look... a bow and of course some punching with a Martha punch...
Hope you like it... I had fun and enjoyed this challenge... I have to go to the chiropractor and do some errands... but will be back later to make another card... love this challenge Holly.. thanks...
Thanks for taking a look... is spring exploding in your yard..??? It will soon...
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

What a super DP you created, Bonnie! I envy your "spring bursting forth"...we are still having dank, drear days. Your card brings spring to us all. Great card!
