This past summer we took a family vacation and I took along stamping stuff. (scary) I wanted to put together a few albums but didn't have the room to travel with a lot of supplies. One day I saw some bags in the store and thought that it would be a great idea to try to make a book out of them. In this particular book I only used 3 bags and got 18 pages out of it. As you look at the pages, you'll see the little slide outs (I used mini tags for pulls) - both sides are used for pictures - so they count as pages. These are the perfect little gifts for parties, get-togethers or any fun "little" event that you might want to share with a friend/family member. AND it is very inexpensive!!!!
I lined all 3 bags up (every other bag needs to face a diff direction so the openings for pictures can be every other page) and then folded them (all together). Then I opened them again and punched holes in the center of the crease, then threaded fibers thru and tied them on the outside.
NOTE: You must spray the bags with an Archival Mist to preserve your pictures. The bags are not acid free or any of that other good stuff.... so take precautions before adding pictures!!! I think I saw some at Hobby Lobby for around $4. I bought my first can at a scrapbooking store and paid $16 for it!!!
There are lots of ways to do these bag books. This was my first one and I thought it turned out quite cute. It isn't complete yet, I still have a few finishing touches to add to it, but all in all I think it is good. I enjoyed making use of all the different colors. Now the search is on for a storage unit to hold these little suckers...... Enjoy!

LOL.... that was a fun day at the zoo, wasn't it? I got lots of great rear shots, as you already know from some of my other cards. I save those for the "special" people in my life. ha ha ha A woman has to be prepared for anything....
U Suck -vs- Ur a Rear (nice way of putting it). Don't we make a fine pair?

I can say that these bag books Cindy has made are outstanding! I started one but haven't gotten anywhere on it yet because I still haven't gotten my archival spray!
