This is my card for the fifteeth VSN challenge for MAY10. The challenge was to make a card inspired by the Gene Kelly classic Singin' in the Rain fromt eh movie of the same name. I adored this challenge and my daughter, who is learning to tapdance, was mesmorised by the Youtube clip of Gene Kelly. What a priceless moment to share with my DD. My card uses bright colours to echo the water and the sun shine which brings flowers blooming forth. The umbrella is for the one Gene carries in the clip. The sun is for the line in the song that says 'the sun's in my heart and I'm ready for love'. The flower is for spring that is in the line 'Why does September seem sunny as spring?'. Kinda funny for me seeing as September is spring here in Australia!!!! Finally, I had to use the sentiment 'Happiness Always' as Gene is so full of optimism and happiness as he sings, dances and splashes his way up the street. Thanks Adelle for one of the loveliest challenges I have ever done!

I'm glad you had so much fun with my challenge. Your card is adorable and I love how you tied it to the song. Great symbolism.
