Pounce Lumiere with sponge on top of tin. Sprinkle Pearl X on top and pounce with sponge until desired color/effect reached (don't rub). You can heat dry but don't get too hot or it will bubble. Repeat on different sections until entire tin is covered. (I kept the lid shut and didn't do under the lip so it wouldn't stick.)
Stamp desired image(s). If using a bottle cap, stamp part of image you want to frame, trim and make sure it fits into the flattened bottle cap lid. Tape it down and pour Crystal Effects into it until it is full and put in a secure place to dry (will take several hours).
(This step only if you have this special irredescent paper and I don't know the name of it). Take your VersaMark and randomly place it on top of tin (not all of it). Then pour your heat and stick over your versamarked lid and heat it. Press the irredescent paper on top of the paper and rub (be careful not to burn yourself - use a sponge - the tin will be hot).
Coat the entire lid again with VersaMark again. Pour clear embossing powder over it to seal it. Heat it.
Decorate it with ribbons and other accessories and then paint mod podge over it. This dries fast so do it quickly and keep your brush in water when not in use. Mod podge is a sealer - it will seal entire product and will dry clear.
This was inspired by my friends Virginia & Kim. They always come up with fabulous ideas! Thanks guys!!!

I forgot one little detail! I was typing this fast because my computer was giving me grief!!! I sprinkled a little glitter into the crystal effects (bottle cap) while it was wet. It just added a little more sparkle. I also set it in the window - the sunlight helped it dry quickly. I'm going to make several of these for my "girl" family members. They'll make great stocking stuffers. Different sizes for different sized purses. Great for money, credit cards, dental floss, tea bags, sugar, coffee, you name it. Great present toppers too!!!

Denier,
I'll try to run over to a stamping store that might have that irredescent paper this weekend and I'll post on this thread about it. It really is neat stuff!!! You just rub it on and whatever you are rubbing on looks like a pearl!

Loralee,
I don't even know what that iridescent paper is called. I've looked for it everywhere online and have found something similar to it overseas, but you can only buy it in bulk. If I come across it I will definitely post what it is called. Of course your tin will be just as beautiful without it. You can always add something else or use nothing at all. Glitter is always adds a pretty sparkle. ;) Can't wait to see what you make!
