Finally tried the colored soot stamping. Definitely preferred the results from a more solid stamp, than that of a fine-lined stamp. I liked the effects with the pumpkins.

I would like to try this technique, but have a question about how you colored in the pumpkins -- did you ink up the glossy cardstock first, before using the flame, or did you use the soot technique - spray with sealer - and color in afterward? Forgive my ignorance, please -- I looked at the instructions in the resource section, but the example just showed white glossy CS.
