With all that talk about this technique I had to take my cheap water brush out again. I filled it with floor wax. Next I embossed the dragonflies with black on Vellum. I dipped my water brush (and I hate the cheap one. Where is my aqua painter!!!!) in Pearl Ex and then colored the Dragonflies in.

Very pretty! Do you keep the floor wax in the brush when you aren't using it? Or do you clean it out between uses? I just recently bought an aqua brush and have only used water in it.

My floor needs to be waxed too. Can I borrow your brush? Well now. . . that is too small for my floor. . . so I guess I will have to try this technique. Beate-beautiful! I would LOVE to see this card in person (hint, hint, wink, wink). Back to begging for cards again! Don't tell Kar on me!

Actually Pat Huntoon called it like that in her Technique Junkie newsletter. I love that too. Lana...you are too late. I could make you another one, but this one is already on it's way to someone who LOVES dragonflies. I will send you something else. I know I have to tread you right.
Stampcrazygirl I leave the future floor polish in. I think it will be fine. I have all my tools in one of those pampered Chef turnaround thingies. So it's standing up straight. It will be fine.
