I had to try watercoloring these pansies in blues. I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed with clear EP.
I used the "Outside the Box" technique and the top and bottom flowers are paper toled - the flower front only on the top pansy, and both the whole flower layer and the flower front layer on the bottom flower. The focal image layer is popped up on dimensionals.
Here's a great "Out of the Box" with nestabilities tutorial by Diane Zechman (cookiestamper):
Paper: watercolor, Brilliant Blue, SU Sarah dp, Old Olive
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, reinkers for watercoloring: Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, Night of Navy, Brilliant Blue, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Garden Green

Beautiful card, Linda! I really love the pansies, but I also love this great layout. I continually struggle with that area, but this is wonderful. I always enjoy looking at your lovely cards! Thanks!
