There are lots of artists that inspire me on this site, like Zindorf, Biggan, etc., but Kittie is the person who introduced me to stamping. She encourages me, challenges me and continues to introduce me to new techniques. Lovely as a Tree was the first set that I actually bought and I still love the set. Kittie's beautiful card, TLC293 Splitting Trees by kittie747 at Splitcoaststampers, showcases this set beautifully. But in thinking of how to honor Kittie properly, I used her lovely Kittie Kit pine trees.
Kittie's cards are so perfect and often intricate in the details. My cards always have flaws (it's sort of my trademark) and simple is what I do best; however, Kittie never makes me feel inferior. She is an amazing mentor and definitely has affected the quality of my life!

What a wonderfully touching write-up of a truly encouraging and helpful lady. Your inspired design reflects what you have learned from Kittie (how sweet to think to use her kit trees), but it also shows your individual style which is absolutely lovely in its beautiful simplicity. I LOVE the soft shades you have used on your beautiful main panel and that sentiment is so soulful and balances out your lovely, lovely design.

Jane, thank you for such a lovely honor. You are such a good friend. Your card is gorgoeus and like Mitchy said you have your own lovely style. I love the soft colors behind the trees. Gorgeous card. Thank you so much!
