A close friend is a sewing queen. She stays up until stupid o'clock almost every night making everything and anything as commissioned, all while keeping a 9-5 job too.
Knew the perfect stamp sets to use for her birthday card.
Stamped the pattern pieces onto tracking paper and cut them out as a real pattern would be and arranged on the patterned paper. I didn't waste any of the pieces, using each remaining piece inside near my message and the larger cuts on the envelope and flap too. Handles of scissors are embossed in red.
Took me most of an afternoon as I tinkered with placement and overall look but I loved every minute making this project.
(For her gift, I had business cards made with her logo on them. And embossed each card by hand to have a border or buttons/stitches. Complete "sew" theme.)

Cute card! What a wonderful friend she has who would take so much time, love and energy to add so many details to cards (business and greeting). - BTW - love the 'stupid o'clock' comment!
