So, yesterday when I was attempting the faux denim technique, I noticed how distressed barn wood-like my paper looked before I finished the technique. So, today, when the challenge is True Blue Flowers...to make a card mainly blue with flowers, I decided to revisit the technique. I made my main panel by swiping first Baja Breeze then Bayou Blue then Sahara Sand (and on the tiny panel Not Quite Navy). I added some grey lines to delineate the pieces of wood and added some "nails" I die cut a piece of Wild Wasabi dp, crumpled and sponged it a bit and adhered it. I punched my flowers, sponged the edges and added tiny centers from the smallest circles of the Owl punch. I used a stylus pushed in the center to give them some dimension. My sentiment is a rectangle with corners rounded mounted over a designer label punched piece that was sponged.
