I received a box of stamps from a friend the other night and wanted to use the stamps to make a thank you note for them. When I saw today's technique challenge to "make your own silhouette" I was excited to ink up the new rubber! I inked the tree stamp with Hunter and then used a qtip to get the ink off the trunks and added Chocolate Chip with a marker. I stamped onto Crumb Cake and added the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. I stamped my moose onto the back side of the dp and cut it out. I added a little sponging to the edges of the moose and distressed my panels.

What a great card and such a nice way to say thank you! I love that moose, bought that set just for him! Why I need a moose I'll never know, but had to have him and can not bear to part with him, lol!

awesome card Gail, you've created a fabulous scene, I love this pines stamp and I've been looking for it for a while now. I missed it a couple of times on ebay too. The distressing completes it perfectly, TFS

That is a great tip for getting both colors on the trees, which are lovely!!! Your silhouetted moose is wonderful and your distressed edges are the perfect touch! This makes for such a fantastic card!!!
