This the card I made for Sol, the recipient of this week's Teapot Tuesday cards! Sol and his friend Gypsy have been quarantined on their floor in 100 degree weather with no air conditioning! I thought, perfect! I will bring him a little cold refreshing snow!
This is my story:
1. I was bigtime after the extra cookies! Big time!
2. We have had the weirdest weather in Colorado. One day its 105! The next day, snow! Two feet! (just joshin') Yup, only in Colorado!
3. When it snowed, I knew the next day it would be over 100 degrees, so I ran out and quick like made a little snowman for the foreground of this card out of real snow. I knew that would get me extra cookies because we have to bring something from the outdoors and put it on our card to be awarded extra cookies!
4. I am sorry, but I don't think that I should be penalized and not get the extra cookies just because my snow man melted before I could snap this picture! I dont' think feats of mother nature should count against a teapotter that makes such an effort for the extra cookies! Don't you agree?
Sheri, can I have extra cookies? Thank you for hosting and for giving me more cookies than everyone else gets!!

You can't blame a girl for trying!!! But I think you have a good idea in your effort to cool things down for Sol. Great card, love the depth (of the snow, of course).

I love the thought of snow for a cool down!! Nothing like a nice wintery scene to inspire the feeling of the brisk feel of a snowy day, Cindy!! This will have Sol reminiscing of carefree days, playing in the snow and building snowmen!!

Cindy, this is just so much fun and I see you slipped those polka dots in there!!!! This is fantastic and after our temps yesterday (~10 I almost want to jump into a snowbank and hug a snowman. Definitely think you should get extra cookies! Thanks for all your work for Gypsy and Sol! Big hugs!

Oh I so remember that crazy weather in Colorado. Right after we bought a boat it started clouding up and raining every afternoon which happened to be the time we would go boating!....thanks for the memories Mudder! .....now about this card of yours. Always the one to go the extra mile, making a snowman and all. Me thinks you must really really want those "extra" cookies. Tell you what, if Sheri doesn't give you some, I'll share mine with you BUT only if Curt says it is okay. hehe Love your mountainy scene with snow, made the temperature in my room drop at least 5 degrees while viewing this masterpiece. I am sure Sol will love the coolness too. Love this! Well done......TFS :0) UGIG

Fabulous card! Love the colors and the wonderful winter scene! So cool how you've framed the lower half too! I think that you should get the whole plate of cookies (as long as you share them with me)!!

Love all the interesting elements in your card. The framed scene at the bottom and the stamped forest and deer at the top really bring so much depth to your card!! Beautiful
