Ok so I like Home Depot, This is actually for shoe storage and the open sheving is seperate unit that stacks on top and you guessed it the same used in last 2 pics. There is 4 units 2 back to back and one on each end of the back to back ones if that makes sense. Eventually I'll get a countertop fitted for it because it makes a great island. I have the flip chart thingy gotten at an office supply store which holds my inspiration sheets and you can't see it well but my ink pad storage is on top as well. The only downfall is some of the larger SU! set containers do not fit in the slot well but those I just put on upper shelves. Still playing with how to organize the stamps sets. I know I'm going to do...Current, Mini, Hostess, Promotion and retired but within those categories I don't know how I want to do it. I've already tried by category in catalog, alphabetical and theme and so far neither way is working for me when I go to find a set. How do you organize yours??

Wow I love your room. I have been struggling with organizing my stamp sets and have finally decided that the currents are organized by the category in the catalog. That way it is easy to find. Retired I do by season/event. And have a separate place for mini and promotions together. I find that I am not looking for something quite so much anymore - I also listed all my stamps sets in a data base in my computer (great for insurance purposes too) with it's location that way I can look it up by name and find its location. This is a great way to track if you have lent something out to someone too!
Have a stampalicious day!

Thanks Ladies!!!
Great ideas MrsGrich, Thanks!
Colleen...It will really depend on the sizes. Looking at the picture some of the slots can only hold 2 because of the container size while others can hold 3 and up to 4 with the smallest sets. There are 82 sets shown in the pic and there are 4 sides. So around 328 SU! sets.....WOW thats crazy...LOL
Thats the first time I've counted. The other sides aren't full....yet, muwhahahaaaaa

7 Retired ones
But you can change them depending how many you have.

XOXOX your space and the inspiration sheet binder is a great idea!! Asheville is just beautiful too!! The new HGTV house is very near there in Lake Lure and WHEN I win the house, you and I can hang together and STAMP!!
As for organization of stamp sets... first I have a current set section and a retired set section. My stamp sets are arranged and stacked according to container size. Maybe not the BEST way to do it but they all LQQK sooooooo good stacked up nice and neat!

I organize my stamp sets by container size then alphabetical. I slide a certain designated color of paper on the inside of each container, to determine if it was a mini, is retired, hostess....etc. So, at a glance, the containers that are the same are all together and I know what kind of set I'm grabbing. I am currently working on a "catalogue" of my stamp sets. I have over 150 sets and I want to see what is in them without having to go get it out and see it. It is much easier in a book.
