A birthday card for my son-in-law, who is a bike enthusiast. As a matter of fact, he doesn't own a car. I used a mixed media technique loosely following a video that Dina Kowal had posted on the MIX9 thread. I was also inspired by tessaduck's card seen here TLC438 metal tape by tessaduck at Splitcoaststampers
Embossed purple cardstock, attached a strip of drywall tape on the right. Die cut two bicycles, glued them together for dimension, glued them to the card. Then I used a foil inner lid from a yogurt container, glued it over the bicycle and pressed with my fingers to reveal the dimension underneath. Then dabbed a turquoise gelato straight onto the foil. Added a sentiment and an arc of silver brads.

Great card for your SIL! Like the gelato on the foil, glad to know it works and doesn't rub off. I'll have to try that. When I first saw your card, Ina, I thought of the movie E.T. and that FAMOUS scene with E.T. riding the bicycle with the moon behind him. Made me smile.
