I've been MIA the past week due to an internet outage that occurred before the big storm hit and remains out....had to leave my house to upload. We are blessed with a warm house and have been enjoying family time minus the TV and computers so it hasn't been a hardship. All that to say, I'm uploading this in honor of Marie/momof5sons as part of last week's Queen for the Day Challenge where we were to choose someone who had a screen name similar to our own to honor as queen. I didn't do a direct CASE as I'd looked at a card of Marie's before the internet went down, but couldn't go back again so I went mainly with the vintage theme and tilted panel look of this pretty card of Marie's. This is also a sample card for the sketch challenge today using Janette's sketch. My back panel is embossed with the Mosaic ef. My horizontal piece is wheeled and placed so you can see the Queen for the Day ad. I used some dp as my tilted panel and stamped my vintage ladies for my oval. I notched the ends of my sentiment piece and popped with dimensionals. I added a tiny glittery fork bow for a little glam. Here's to my internet friend Marie-hope you enjoy the card I made for your queenship!

What a wonderful vintage, monochromatic creation. It's just wonderful. Stay warm and safe.

I am glad all is ok with your family and that you are taking a possible downside and making it positive. I like it when the power goes out as well in a way because it does make people get off the tvs and computers and do more together.
lovely job with casing the queen. neat idea with the vintage look and keeping it B and W...stylin...;0)....TFS.

This is just wonderful in the neutral tones. I can imagine what fun it has been to be unaware of TV and computer, and having to talk to each other!!
