Today Sabrina has us honoring John Wayne with our 'Go West' cards. I have no western type stamps, so I made denim following this SCS tutorial. I think that part turned out OK, but I'm not happy with the gold ink & it's fairly new and I wanted the flowers to look a little more yellow-y. I also thought I had gold nail heads so I had to use the rounded ones. And there's no sun today! So... this will do.
Thanks for stopping by.

The denim looks great......but you may want to color in the daisies with some yellow to define them more. How are you gf? Healing up well??? HUgs.

Gosh, Karen - I think your denim turned out great! I can do faux wood ok, but I have to admit I've yet to make a faux denim that I'm happy with. Did you use the same ink for the stitching lines that you did for the flowers? They look great (both the lines and the flowers).

I think your denim is awesome! As far as the flowers...they look fine but next time you might do something else...stamp and learn ;) I hope you had fun though doing something crafty!
