The card base is Island Indigo with stamped and dry embossed Whisper White front panels. The card base front was cut (from the right edge): 0.5", then another 1.25". The 1.25" section was tossed into my scrap folder, and a clear acetate window was cut 1.5" wide and the same height as the card (5.5"). The acetate window was glued with Tombow glue on to the remaining Island Indigo front of the card base, then the 0.5" narrow Island Indigo piece was glued on the other side of the acetate so that the newly assembled front of the card exactly matched the back of the card which had remained uncut.
Two pieces of Whisper White cardstock were cut to match the newly assembled Island Indigo front card base (2.5"x5.5" and 0.5"x5.5") These two white panels were stamped, dry embossed, and then glued over the top of the Island Indigo card front (leaving the acetate window uncovered. The flocked designer paper was cut into a strip 1.5"x5.5" and glued to the inside of the card to lay directly under the location of the acetate window panel on the front of the card.
The sentiment was stamped using Island Indigo ink, and then a die from the Adorning Accents Edgelits set was used to cut a top, then bottom of the sentiment, and trimmed widthwise to fit the card. The sentiment was attached with Stampin' Dimensions so that they didn't appear through the acetate window when the card was opened.

I really like your monochromatic take on the sketch! Combining the stamped scene with the interestingly cut panels and the dry embossing are super ways to breathe new life into this "oldie but goodie" stamp set. Great job all around! Thanks for sharing your card with us at 52CCT.

This is beautiful. Love the colour you've used and the lovely image. The embossed falling snow is just fab. Great take on the sketch. Thanks so much for playing along with 52CCT, Deborah, DT.
