Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to make a card using Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz and Mint Macaron. The dessert option is lace. Dessert was easy for me: I am a bobbin lacemaker! But no, I didn't make the lace on my card.
I don't know how well you can see the mint layer in the photo, but I stamped an all over lacy design in Mint Macaron ink. The flowers were stamped with Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz.. After the card was done, I painted over the flowers, leaves and stems with Wink of Stella and then filled in the white circle with Nuvo Drops, for pearly, sparkly embellishments. A strip of lace across the bottom, just to make sure I get dessert this week!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
