In my Featured Stamper 2017 catch up, I have made it to April! The Featured Stamper for the first week in April was Anita Kejriwal and WOW her gallery was something else! All those beautiful florals were gorgeous but far beyond my ability to do so I was pleased when I ran across this card: simplicity by anitak160 at Splitcoaststampers. Aptly titled "Simplicity"!
The lovely background on Anita's card reminded me of some paper I knew I had somewhere so I went and found it, and that was the start of my card. I used my Big Shot (YAY I have a die cutting machine now!!) with square dies to make a frame, and stamped the butterfly image on a cream colored scrap and attached it to the inside of the frame, then used foam tape to attach. I stamped the sentiment on another piece of cream paper (the photo makes it look a lot more yellow than it is), layered it onto more of the blue paper from the frame, and trimmed to card size and attached.
Anita I love your style and recognize your work instantly now when I see it in the Gallery! Hope you had a fantastic week as Featured Stamper! Congratulations!
