This week's featured stamper is Nan Cee and I have had so much fun going through her gallery, and when I came upon this sunflower card I simply had to make this: Bright Sunny Sunflowers by Nan Cee's at Splitcoaststampers. I really love the woodgrain she used on the green panel of her card, but this image is wider and it simply would not work so I will save it for another card. The sunflower in front was fussy cut out and popped up on 3M foam tape for some added dimension. The thanks die is cut from bronze glitter paper, and I trimmed the long scrolly tail off it because it did not look right on the card. I had so much fun making this card that I am going to make a few more. Thank you Nan Cee for the great inspiration, and thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Your lovely sunflowers usher in warmth on this very cold day. Your fussy cutting is terrific. Thanks for bringing the sunshine in on a cold and dreary day!

Beautiful! Sorry, can't wish for spring to come quickly because it is followed by our too hot summer! That said, keep your card out to look at and enjoy and dream of spring!

Excellent fussy cutting on the one bloom, Karen. Such a fun and bright and happy thank you card. Your idea to cut the tail off that die is wonderful. Oh, I learn so much from you.
